Three perfect 300 games were rolled this season at Orchard Lanes, all by Patrick Olson. He notched two of them in the Monday night Industrial League and one in the Tuesday Nite Mixed League.

200 AVERAGE BOWLERS:

A 200 average has long been considered like par for bowlers, but it’s probably higher now with the advent of modern hi-tech, high scoring bowling balls, computerized lane machines that nearly flawlessly put down the same oil patterns every single week and synthetic lanes. Still, that nice, even, round 200 number looks mighty good! Here are 11 classy keglers who achieved that all-time cool milestone in league action at Orchard Lanes this past season:

Patrick Olson, 226, Fraternal League

Chad Mason, 215, Fraternal League

John Helm, 213, Fraternal League

Court Barker, 212, Fraternal League

Josh Worth, 209, Fraternal League

AJ Perdue, 209, Fraternal League

Jeremy Bloom, 209, Tuesday Nite Mixed League

Bill Pullum, 207, Fraternal League

Ken Espersen, 206, Tuesday Nite Mixed League

Joey Sheirbon, 203, Industrial League

Stan Pratnicki, 201, Fraternal League

ALL-STAR TEAMS (solely based on high averages):

Women                                              Men

Erin Salisbury, 192                    Patrick Olson, 226

Nancy Asai, 182                        Chad Mason, 215

Ciena Brittle, 180                      John Helm, 213

Jenna Hert, 166                        Court Barker, 212

Sandy Holmes, 163                   Josh Worth, 209

BOWLER OF THE YEAR: CHAD MASON

This honor has been traditionally based on the scratch all-events champion in the Hood River City Bowling Tournament which Chad won in 2026. It’s certainly well-deserved for Chad, in addition to being the impressive scratch city tournament all-events champ, the fire-balling right hander made the ALL-STAR TEAM and finished the season with a fine 215 average, second best in the city.

As the season closes let’s pay special attention to our bowling team sponsors: HOOD RIVER SUPPLY, MT. HOOD BBQ, PAT’S PRO SHOP, ORCHARD LANES, DOUBLE A ORCHARDS, BLOOM AUTO BODY, HOOD RIVER ATHLETIC CLUB and HU’SUM PIZZA. Support these sponsors!

Outstanding bowling everyone! We want to thank our wonderful league bowlers for being with us this past season. It was a good one thanks to all of you! We hope you will join us again this Fall for the next season of league bowling.
