UPDATE: Happy New Year 2026

We had a nice visit from an old friend, the legendary Jeff Miller, who now resides in the North Bend area. Jeff’s dynamic pin spilling talent is unchanged. He crushed the pins as a substitute in three of our leagues. Jeff rocked the sticks to the tune of a 269 game and 692 series in the Monday night Industrial league; a 247 game and 702 series in the Tuesday Nite Mixed league; and a 279 game and 707 series in the Wednesday night Fraternal league! That amounts to a pro-like 233 average per game. Once again it was Miller time at Orchard Lanes!

INDUSTRIAL LEAGUE:

There is just one week to go in the second round and TRIPLE T’s, who also won the first round are leading with 129.5 points. Decavo is in second place with 118 points. It’s going to be hard to dislodge Triple T’s from first place. What do they say about the family that bowls together? Triple T’s are Leslie Trout, Jordon Trout and Tyson Trout.

Whose been hot during December in the Industrial League: John Riggleman led the parade of pin busters, beating his average by 139 pins with a nifty 727 series that included 256 and 247 games. John also notched a 246 game in another week. Joey Sheirbon chipped in a cool 236 game and 665 series; Rod Pratt logged two 268 games, a 236 game and 659 series; Matt Hodges blasted a solid 245 game and 651 series; Aaron Troxel fired a 259 game; Court Barker shot 246 and 238 games; Kevin Harris stroked a 245 game; Colby Henning tossed a 243 game; and Nancy Asai punched a 204 game.

TUESDAY NITE MIXED LEAGUE:

We’re just 2 weeks into the second half of this competitive league so all 12 teams are in it to win it. Expect fireworks every Tuesday night!

Here is a list of big shooters in December: Smooth Ken Espersen rolled a fine 250 game and 653 series; Rico Miller had a 245 game; Joey Sheirbon pitched in a 243 game; Bobby Steele racked up a 239 game; Josue Chavarria topped his average by 109 pins as he chucked a 236 game; Luke Renfro hurled a 236 game; all-star Nancy Asai flipped 223 and 212 games; and Erin Salisbury bagged a 205 game.

SENIOR COLTS AND FILLIES LEAGUE:

PINS IN LOW PLACES won the first half of the league with 36 wins. Rolling Pins finished second with 34 wins. Congratulations to the winners, JOYCE PILLON, TED REGENTIN and GORDON PILLON.

Here are the top seasoned pin pounders in December: Rod Pratt scorched 233, 214, 210 and 203 games; Paul Dethman tossed a 228 game; Ed Busick notched a 213 game; Dave Baumsteiger had a 206 game; and Tony Teschner rolled a 204 game.

FRATERNAL LEAGUE;

With four weeks to go in the second round, The Bowling Stones are in first place with 101 points and Orchard Lanes is in second with 95.5 points. Outcomes turn around fast in this

scrappy league so no lead is safe. There will be close matches and shut outs, anything goes!

Lots of big numbers in this high scoring league in December: Bill Pullum’s big hook crunched the sticks with a huge 290 game and 710 series; Josh Worth muscled 258 and 235 games in a 692 series; Court Baker tore them up with a 247 game and 688 series; all-star Chad Mason rolled 279, 247 and 236 games plus a 680 series; Nationals striker Skip Whitley fired a 665 series; The Dalles John Helm shot 265 and 248 games plus a 654 series; Jason Borton had 245 and 235 games in a 653 series; James Youtsey fired a 652 series; Ciena Brittle logged 220, 214 and 214 games plus a 608 series: Matt Phillips shot a 267 game; Jordan Trout smoked a 263 game; fireballer Stan Pratnicki had a 248 game; AJ Perdue shot a 237 game; and young Jeremiah Brittle tossed a 236 game;

THURSDAY COUNTY LEAGUE:

With just one week to go in the first half of the league, Team Chiquita is in first place with 29 wins. The Unbowlievables are in second with 25 points. It’s going to be a tall order to beat the banana gang for the first half win. Looks like everybody slipped on those banana peels!

Top scores in December included: Brian Farlow with a 213 game; Rod Pratt with a 208 game; Matt Stoneberg with a 205 game and Yoyo Cervantes with a 203 game.
